Ditch Paris - how about a stroll along a living bridge or staying in a quaint hotel nestled in the side of the Swiss Alps? This is by no means a comprehensive list, but simply a small sample of some of my personal favorites. There are so many amazing places out there that are often overlooked by the common tourist. Lucky are those who take the time to find these places - they must come back with the best stories, and pictures.
I may make a series of this. There's plenty of caves, beaches and castles that could be highlighted here. I included the Devetashka Cave in Bulgaria in this list, particularly since it's the thumbnail for my Pinterest page "Travel Girl's Bucket List," but the Son Doong Cave in Vietnam could have easily been included here as well.
